Open Positions

 

As a growing organization the Iowa Firearms Coalition continues to look for volunteer staff in various areas of the organziation.

We require all those holding positions to be supporing members and though not required internet access. Most positions require at most 5 hours a week, along with a monthly conference call and quarterly leadership meeting.

Vice-President of PR & Marketing

We are looking for someone who understands the concepts of marketing to take the reigns and lead our campaigns. All of IFC's PR & Marketing functions would fall under this responsibility of this person. This includes our web presence, media relations, membership, and our forums. The person who takes on this position needs to be someone who is a self-starter and able to lead a group of other self-starters in their assigned tasks. You will need to have regular access to the Internet, and you should expect to spend 5-10 hours a week on this position.

Publication Director

IFC needs someone to manage our different publications. Brochures, business cards, e-mail alerts, printed newsletters, just to name a few. Interested parties need to be familiar with publishing and graphics tools, and understand the printing process. Basic HTML knowledge would be helpful with the design and publishing of the e-mail alerts.
