Nonprofessional permits to carry will only be issued to nonresidents with a demonstrable viable threat to themselves or their family as verified by a law enforcement agency in the jurisdiction where the threat occurred.

• School ZONES and parks – Illegal to possess a firearm IF YOU COMMIT A PUBLIC OFFENSE [724.4A(2)]
• School GROUNDS – Illegal to carry [724.4A(1)] and [724.4B]
• School Bus – per Adminsitrative Rule [281-43.38(2)]
• Casinos – per Administrative Rule [491-5.4(6)]
• Capitol Complex – per Administrative Rule [11-100.2(8A]
• State parks and preserves – prohibits use not carry [461A.42]
